Meet Caden

Caden is our middle child who has been sick since roughly 2 months of age - he is now 19 months and has rarely had a break from a runny nose and coughing fits. It is a challenge, juggling the hospital stay, kids at home, work, and life in general. Currently my husband and I are rotating between home and staying at Helen Devos Children's Hospital working with an AMAZING team who are working to get to the root of the problem so that he can kick being sick for good! It is a difficult thing to watch your child be sick and be helpless, but my husband and are know he will be better in the future for our efforts now. PRAYERS UP. That Caden will adjust to a temporary life with no real foods. PRAYERS UP: that we as a family can navigate helping him strengthen his body to get back to normal foods again. PRAYERS UP: for those that are going through any kind of children illness - WE SEE YOU. and finally: PRAYERS UP: to those amazing doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to find the answers for all of their patients so that they are safe, healthy, and feel loved and care for.
